工作职责:本职位将在联合国世界粮食计划署(以下简称“粮食署”)中国办公室代表的指导下,向行政部门汇报工作。

具体工作职责包括:

1. 接送粮食署员工、高级别联合国官员及来访人员,掌握中英日常对话交流;按指定线路取运物料,遵守联合国相关安全规定,以保证工作安全高效。

2. 根据办公室安排为其他司机设计安排路线行程,以保证高效运输服务。

3.协助官方来访人员在华办理签证及过关手续,并安全顺利接送其至指定地点。

4. 负责保管车辆日志本,每日需向主管汇报车辆和油耗状况,以保证车辆正常使用及财务准确记录。

5. 计划协调粮食署的车辆维护,以保证车辆通行证及设备齐全,车辆状态良好,保障驾驶安全高效。

6. 遵守外勤运输的相关规定,如发生意外情况,需立即向主管汇报,按主管指示进一步处理。

7. 除履行司机相关职责外,需协助相关行政事务,如 整理、复印本岗位相关文件、寄送快递、完成话费及其他帐单的支付、办理银行存取款业务、小额采购等。

8. 协助完成其他事务。

资历要求:

• 教育背景:高中及以上学历,接受过正规驾驶训练,具备有效驾照,遵守相关交通法律法规。
• 工作经验:三年以上相关工作经验,无不良驾驶记录,掌握交通法律法规及基本车辆检修能力。具有联合国或其他国际组织工作经验者优先考虑。
• 技能要求:熟悉交通法律法规,了解司机接待礼仪,熟悉路况,安全意识强;沟通理解能力强,协助其他司机安排行程线路;掌握灭火器、救生衣等安全器材的使用标准和方法;能够读懂安全规则、使用保存说明书、操作程序指南等文件;正确评估车辆状况,掌握基本车辆检修能力;了解车辆装载能力及其他指标;了解收音机、电子邮件、电话及其他设备的使用方法;协助处理紧急事件的基本能力,掌握急救的基本方法;良好的服务意识,责任心强,应变能力强。
• 能力要求:认同粮食署的目标、愿景及价值观;具有文化、性别、宗教、种族、民族和年龄的敏感度和适应性;具有较强的学习能力,能够准确查询地址、航班等信息,能够处理基本的存取款业务、邮袋和海关事务、小额采购等。
• 语言要求:中文流利,会英文者优先。

Background Information – WFP

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide. Since 1961, WFP has pursued a vision of the world in which every man, woman and child has access at all times to the food needed to lead an active and healthy life. On average, WFP reaches more than 80 million people with food assistance in 75 countries each year. WFP was invited by the Chinese Government to begin joint humanitarian and development activities in 1979.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the general guidance of the Director of WFP China Office, the Driver will report to the Administration Officer or the designate, and provide efficient and safe transportation to senior WFP staff, high ranking UN officials or visitors, and provide support in coordinating transport-related services. Specifically:

1. Provide transportation to senior WFP staff, high ranking UN officials and visitors including translation of basic conversations from/to the local language, and the delivery and collection of various items following authorized routing and UN safety and security rules and regulations to ensure safe and efficient services.

2. Plan and assign the routes and schedules for other Drivers based on the instructions of Office, to support efficient transport-related services for clients as required.

3. Provide basic assistance with visa and customs formalities for official personnel and visitors, to facilitate smooth and safe entry and arrival to the authorised destinations.

4. Responsible for accurate maintenance of the vehicle log books, and daily reporting to the supervisor on mechanical status to ensure efficient vehicle use and fuel consumption supporting accurate accounting and cost-efficiency.

5. Efficiently plan and coordinate WFP vehicle maintenance to ensure vehicles are fully equipped with required travel authorisations and supplies, assigned equipment on board is in a good condition to support safe and efficient services.

6. Follow established rules and regulations for field deliveries and/or in cases of an accident, and report immediately to the supervisor on any apparent problems, to seek for instructions and facilitate informative decisions on the way forward.

7. Outside driving duties, perform basic office related tasks such as filing, photocopying and maintaining stores when required including mailing service and payment of office telephone and other bills, to ensure administrative support to clients.

8.  Perform other duties as and when required.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of secondary school education or above. Formal drivers training with a valid driver’s license/certification to operate assigned vehicle following local rules and regulations.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ work experience as a driver; safe driving record; knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor vehicle repair. Previous work experience in the UN/international organizations will be considered an advantage.

• Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of driving rules and regulations, chauffeur protocol and courtesies, local roads/waterways and conditions, and security issues; Good understanding of transport services and ability to coordinate routes and schedules for other Drivers; Knowledge of driving operating rules and regulations whichever applicable; Knowledge of safety standards and safety equipment (e.g. fire extinguishers, buoyant wearable safety devices, etc.) ; Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;  Ability to assess vehicles for mechanical fitness and skills in minor vehicle repairs; Knowledge of the vehicle loading capacity and other parameters;  Knowledge and ability to use radio, email, telephone and other applications; Basic skills to assist in case of emergency, knowledge of first aid basic methods; Ability to demonstrate  a client-oriented approach, high sense of responsibility, courtesy and tact.

• Competencies: Demonstrates commitment to WFP’s mission, vision and values; Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability; Demonstrates strong learning ability of checking address/flight information, handling banking/pouch/customs/minor purchasing services

• Language: Fluency in Chinese. Knowledge in English is desirable.
